6 Antique Vintage Silver Metallic Bullion Star Spangle Original Paper Applique

Description

These amazing rare unused French Spangles date from the 1910's - 1920's.  They were used in military and ecclesiastic uniforms, theatrical costumes, and Masonic regalia.  Each one is hand sewn using silver plated metal sequins and finely twisted bouillon.  and mounted onto a cardboard backing (see pic), and then lightly attached to the original presentation paper, as shown.  The silver sequins have a beautiful patina and each little spangle adds the perfect touch of authenticity to any ornamental craft project.
Each star measures approx 1" and the listing is for 6 pieces on antique original paper as shown.
As they are mounted on 100 year old cardboard, care must be taken - they are NOT washable.
This item is original antique stock from the archives of Tinsel Trading, in NY, which was founded by my grandfather in 1933. I am constantly adding ribbons, trims, tassels, cords, fringes and more, some dating back as far as 1880's
