The Bongo is probably the most coveted of all African Big Game trophies.  They are quite elusive; live in difficult to hunt habitat and the area where they live requires much travel.  Also, they are very expensive to hunt.  Crawling on your hands and knees through jungle loaded with poisonous snakes, spiders, and other dangers just to get a look at one may be another requirement.  Success is usually less than 50% and many hunters that see one may only see a part of the animal because of thick foliage.  This leads to them taking home a young Male or female; or worse wounding one.  Experienced Trophy Hunters often pass up the shot.  Bongos can be very dangerous when wounded.  Dogs are often used for better success rates.  This particular mount is an average size male from Cameroon.  The taxidermy quality is very good and the mount is clean, smoke free, and in very good condition.  This mount will look fantastic in any home, office, hunting lodge, lake house, lodge homes, cabin, bar, etc.
