    Description

    A FR. 2300 Series of 1935A One Dollar () Silver Certificate Hawaii with Serial Number S42635585C.
    This circulated Fine note has a little edge wear.  There are no pinholes or tears.
    Except for the brown seal and Hawaii overprints, the piece is identical to Silver Certificates (blue seal) of the same vintage.  This marked U.S. currency was introduced into Hawaii in 1942 as an economic defense against a possible Japanese occupation.
