Real Bone Skull set of RUSTY SPOTTED GENET Africa Mammal Animal Taxidermy Art

Description

This is a real bone skull of a RUSTY SPOTTED GENET (Genetta maculata) The skull was beetle cleaned, and whitened and degreased with strong peroxide.  This skulls are complete with lower jaw, but it has been glued to the cranium. There is no damage that I can see, but it is missing a few of the very far back molars on the top skull and one off the mandible.  Please note there may be other imperfections or flaws that I cannot see, as this was a living thing, and living things rarely show perfection in death. The skull is really quite nice, and one of the largest of this species I have seen.  This was an adult male and the skull measures 4 inches in length.  A hard to find little carnivore skull, of a very interesting species.  It would make for a great hands on model in education, for art material, or for the collection!
Please note that this species is rated Least Concern by the IUCN (meaning it is not endangered) and is not CITES listed. These animals were not taken specifically for the skull, but a by product of a deceased animal.  Meaning that this skull is perfectly legal to own and sell within the US. However, I will only ship within the United States, I will not ship internationally.  I am sorry.
