    Description

This is a set of reproduction ti-liger (a hybrid that is 3/4 tiger and 1/4 lion) upper canines that have been cast in durable urethane plastic. The longest of the two is about 3 3/4" (9 cm) as measured straight. These casts could work well as replacements for missing teeth in a small to average real lion skull, or a tiger skull. The casts were made from the teeth of a smaller female ti-liger, so are in the size range of an average tiger or small to average lion. However, it's likely they would be too large for most lionesses without alteration, but you can always grind the roots down to fit. If you are looking for more replacement teeth, please see my other listings - I have a full set of huge African lion canines which will work large lions, as well as a huge top set of liger canines (which are way too large for any lion or tiger!).
The teeth are cast in white urethane but can be painted if desired, with the proper surface preparation. The casts will need to be cleaned of any mold release (acetone or denatured alcohol works great), lightly sanded/scuffed, and then primed. The best primer to use in my opinion is white spray-on primer that comes in a can and can be found in most any hardware store. If that is not available, I would suggest using grey automotive type spray on primer, though you may have to use a couple of coats of whatever shade of white or off white you are going to paint the cast in order to cover the grey. I would not recommend those "paint/primer" combos or "plastic bonder" type enamels. Once the cast is primed you can paint it with acrylics (though you may need to lightly sand the primed surface for good adhesion) or oil-based or enamel paints.
