mail-order course in Taxidermy, from the Northwestern School of Taxidermy in Omaha, Nebraska.

comprehensive
Treatise on collecting and preserving all subjects of natural history by prof. J.W.Elwood.
This set of lessons on Taxidermy. Divided into categories, and easy to follow.  There is no direct age listed but did have a credit / Charge post card included that was from feb 7 1953.
Contains - Course Books 1-9 plus S-2
(Supplement to Lessons 1 & 2).
, but missing book 7 -
Pages 27-30 covering Tanning is missing.
Each book is a 8 3/4 x 6 3/4" softbound staple stitched collection of pages up to 20 pages or less, totaling 160. Please see last 2 photos to see what the course covers.
Condition: Appears to be very lightly used. Material is mostly in excellent shape, with just a little edge wear.
